Hey gang,

I know it has been awhile since we last spoke… but I have had a lot of things to take care of outside of the world wide web. I do want to update you that my foot is healing well and I have the ability to walk around now without massive pain. Man, my high school reunion was this past weekend (am I getting old that fast?)… however, it was really good to see a lot of old faces. We had a great time, I have added pictures from the reunion in the “Photo Archives” section, feel free to check them out. I will be adding more as they are sent to me from others that have attended, so keep checking in. That evening brought back a lot of good and bad memories, but overall it was good to see people are doing ok.
Other than that, I have just got around to update a few sections of my web site that appeared to be dead. So if you have yet to revisit some of the areas, feel free. I have been doing a lot of IT work outside of my 9 to 5, so my time has been very limited here… my apologies. I added/updated two new videos I created in my multimedia section, added pictures to the photo archives, and removed the message board, because it wasn’t being used much (only by porn spammers) and clearly out those messages got annoying (lol).

Hello fam,

On February 17th I tore my achilles tendon playing in a basketball league that required surgery . The surgery lasted about 2hrs and I woke up with 17 staples in the back of my foot. Doc said I should recover 99% if not 100% in about 8-12 months (therapy is involved).

So far, I have been recovering pretty well, I can’t wait to get back on the court and football field. My expected recovery time is mid-October. Pray for me.

March 2nd is almost here (my Birthday!). What to do? Who to do? (lol)…

Anyway, if anyone has options for me to get into on my birthday, let a brother know! I turn 28 (wow)… I am getting old

What’s up visitors. Yes, I am still alive. I have been working OT with my job and staying in shape playing on my fall football and basketball teams. I hope everyone is doing well… Well.. I will post a little later, gotta get back on my grind… keep in touch!

I have put my webcam to use and developed a section on the site providing (1) periodical snapshots and (2) live broadband feeds in my office. You can check it out by clicking on the “mywebcam” camera photo on the upsonsweb.com homepage. NOTE: In order to view the live feed, you have to enter a username and password. I have password protected this section to control the use of my bandwidth. You have the option to donate $5 to help support and maintain my live cam and you will be granted a personal username and password.

People recently asked me, ”Why did I change the look of UpsonsWeb and remove a lot of the old sections of the site you had up?” Honestly, I felt it was time to let go of the old (young minded) UpsonsWeb that was created in November of 1995 (yea 11yrs ago). I remember back in 2000 when I first bought my digital camera (I was syced)… I was snapping pictures of everything, anyone and anywhere! I just couldn’t wait to get home and upload them to my PhotoArchives.UpsonsWeb.com section. I had the entire Washington, D.C. chatroom tuning into the new photos (remember?). Those were the days. Now, almost 11yrs later, I still have these photos and it’s curious to see what half of these people look like today. If you are still around, contact me!

Who would have thought MySpace.com would reunite me with a lot of individuals I grew up with. I even bumped into my 7th grade sweetheart (Yolanda) lol - shoutouts to her!
